Tell a Compelling Story and

AN INTRODUCTION: I have been searching for a theme for a blog I could write. Along with this brainstorming has been me trying to come to terms with what sort of art I should be creating, and what sort of education I should be persuring, or at least aiming at. With the flux of art, design, communication and journalism it's hard to nail down any single art scene to be involved with. Then I came across a clip from cbs the morning show quoting that no matter how it is delivered people will always be interested in a compelling story, with a respect for history and language. If you can communicate an empathic story to an audience they will listen, no matter what means are used to communicate it. I hope to use this blog to further two objectives; one, to help me become a better communicator, using the talents and tools available to me; and two, to bring to light the great stories of people around me. One lesson I've learned as a military photographer is that I am only a lens to bring to focus the heroics of those around me. I hope to continue to let others see the details of the greatness around me.
